  1. Life Skills: Research paper on social issues in the community and around the U.S., specifically race, racism and African-American culture using both historical and current events.
  2. History: Hamilton Education Project: 1-2 minute performance piece (rap, poem, song, scene, monologue) based on historical documents from the Colonial period. Culminating in field trip to Fischer Theater to see Hamilton.
  3. English: Inquiry project/research paper published digitally on a multimedia class blog (Grade 9); Inquiry project using technology to publish a podcast (Grade 10/11)
  4. Science: Biweekly lab experiments.
  5. School-wide interdisciplinary Black History Month project.
